Competition at CSULB: 5/18/25
Awards Recital: Sunday, 6/22/25 2pm-4pm at CSULB A-301 (Frank Pooler Choir Room)
VO-Cal is an organization for Voice Teachers residing in California in The following counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Riverside or San Bernardino. Annually, teachers may enter students into the VO-Cal Competition, held in May. Categories include: Classical Voice, Musical Theater & Contemporary (CCM).
In 2025, the competition is live! Students will compete on campus at CSULB.
The registration fee for the VO-CAL Competition is $45 per student per category.
Register your students on our registration page. Payments will be made via paypal on the registration form.
VO-CAL is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public benefit organization created to present further performance and
evaluation opportunities for our students.
As a non-profit organization, we welcome donations (all completely tax-deductible), which will go towards
monetary prizes for the singers.
